Beth Henley’s The Miss Firecracker Contest was produced and directed by David Tarleton in the North Hollywood Arts District. Adria Dawn starred and produced. They learned a lot from making this first collaboration together.

The films are distributed through Alexander Street, McIntyre Media, Learn360 and ClickView, educational media platforms used by schools across the world.
Identity was an Emmy nominee and recently won a silver Telly Award for Diversity and Inclusion.
Cold War
David Tarleton and Adria Dawn served as casting directors on this independent comedy feature. It is currently streaming on Amazon. TDP was happy to collaborate with J Wilder Konschak, Stirling McLaughlin, and Alli Hartley. An award-winning festival favorite, including Best Feature at the Best of the Midwest Awards.

Dorkumentary Live!
Dork bombs, the dorkiness continued when we took the series and made it a play! Tarleton/Dawn Productions proudly presented “Dorkumentary Live!” at Stage 773 in Chicago,to sold-out crowds.

We made the music video for the song “Starfield Tectonics” by Andrew M. Edwards from the album “The Center of the Sky.”
Gray Area
“Gray Area” is based on the memoir “MY self: An Autobiography of Survival,” by Kelley Kitley.
This film challenges the viewer to reevaluate what alcoholism can look like. With mom wine culture at an all time high, “Gray Area” provides a timely look into how many contemporary women can struggle.
“Gray Area” won a Telly Award for Social Issues in 2022 as well as the Grand Jury Prize at the Awareness Film Festival in Los Angeles.
Karen
This award-winning film was made during the pandemic, in support of Black Lives Matter. Karen offers a look at what racism can look like in modern day suburbia. Here are articles about the film. It is distributed by Learn360, Alexander Street and ClickView. Karen won the Silver Telly Award for Social Impact in 2022.
